Spoonflower [helped] me visualize how the designs would work together cohesively: a little more blue, less stripes, a better balance of light/dark tones, etc. And unlike typical sources where you're constrained by fabric type, I was able to get all my favorite designs on my choice of Cotton Poplin.

The [Spoonflower] variety is huge, the colors are reliable, and the ability to scale and customize designs means the fabric actually fits the garment, not the other way around. It’s rare to find a platform where you can test ideas, order swatches, and then wear the result.

Not only can I find prints that match my exact vision, but I can also create or customize designs. [Spoonflower] allows me to bring my ideas to life in a way that feels both intentional and unique, and that is exactly why I keep coming back again and again.

    Cotton Poplin Fabric FAQs

Machine wash cool on a gentle/delicate setting, using phosphate-free detergent. Machine dry on a low temperature setting. Iron on the unprinted side of the fabric. Woven fabrics may experience fraying when washed. We recommend serging or stay-stitching 1/4"-1/2" from the cut edge or using a delicates bag when pre-washing.

Designs print with crisp detail and vibrant color. Smooth fabrics show fine details clearly, while textured fabrics create a more natural printed look.

Some Spoonflower fabrics may include a small amount of extra width for the selvedge (the finished edge of the fabric). This area helps prevent fraying during printing and shipping. The listed fabric width refers to the usable printed area, and any selvedge is included as additional width.
